Point Smythe Visitor Information signs

In 2017 Friends of Venus Bay Peninsula partnered with Parks Victoria to create colourful information signs with walking trail maps for Point Smythe Public Reserve, in Cape Liptrap Coastal Park.

This reserve is the bushland tip of the Venus Bay Peninsula and a popular bushwalking destination for residents and visitors. The north of the tip is bounded by Anderson Inlet and the south by Venus Bay beach and the Southern Ocean. The reserve boasts a diversity of coastal habitats within the narrow tip of the peninsula and is an important refuge for wildlife.

Thanks to Parks Victoria for working with us to create and install the signs. This project was funded by a Parks Victoria Community grant.
